Lucas smiled warmly at his words. Everything he said making his heart beat hard in his chest, as his gaze lingered on the raven. “You’re precious, you know that?” He asked simply, a hand raising, finger tracing along his cheek. “I-..” He stammered, before shaking his head. “I mean, I don’t see it myself so..” He admitted, looking down, blush present on his cheeks. Lucas didn’t know what was happening, but he liked it —Every minute of it. He wanted to be around him more, he made him feel good about himself. Pressing his lips to his cheek, he remained there for a moment, then resting his head against his shoulder. “It means something coming from you though, it really does.”

Jamie couldn’t help but to let his small smile grow a bit wider, Lucas just knew how to make him feel all fuzzy inside, to make him feel this unfamiliar yet lovely feeling in his stomach. “I didn’t know that, but I don’t think you’re lying so now I know.” He said, chuckling softly. The raven titled his head slightly once the brunette looked down, making Jamie lift his face back up so he could lock their eyes together once more. “But I do, and I think you have the right to know that..” He said in a hushed tone. Once he felt the males lips pressed against his cheek, the youngster placed his hand on the back of the feather haired boy, resting his head shortly against Lucas’. “I’m glad baby, I just wanna make you happy.” He whispered, looking down over the brunettes shoulder. “Because..
I love you.” Jamie obviously meant it as so much more, but Lucas didn’t need to know that. He didn’t have to know that he had fallen for his best friend.
